New shielded fan with anti-wear plates with chrome and tungsten carbide coating. the products passing through the fan are extremely abrasive! a 6 mm sheet of ordinary steel is pierced in 3 to 4 weeks. It was therefore necessary to cover the entire static part as well as the fan wheel using these specially designed sheets.
This identical fan will be installed at the beginning of September by our maintenance team. It is intended to replace a machine which is already very damaged. The latter will be reconditioned, as far as possible, in our workshops.
